MaXaem water-activated 6V batteries
MaXaem Batteries is an Australian technology company that makes water-activated batteries.
MaXaem batteries are supplied inert and hold 100% capacity until activated by water, offering a non-toxic, leak-proof and long-shelf-life alternative to standard alkaline or lithium cells.
Key features
-
-
- Battery will function in any brand of 6V torch or lantern.
-
- Infinite shelf life: does not lose charge over time while stored, unlike traditional chemical batteries.
-
- Safety: air transportable as the batteries do NOT contain any dangerous goods; eliminates chemical leakage, rust, corrosion and fire risks.
-
- Eco-friendly: does not contain lead, toxic acids or hazardous chemicals.
-
- Water activation: inert for long-term storage; only made active once you add water to the battery.
-
Waste reduction! Only throw out the battery after it has been used. Traditional batteries degrade over time, even on the shelf.
In the aftermath of a disaster, our water-activated batteries and torches provide reliable light. Once activated the MaXaem battery will supply light for 120 hours.
Designed in Australia to replace traditional batteries.
Batteries can be stored in stockpiles ready for use with no power loss. Ideal for spontaneous volunteers, relief centre equipment packs and Go-bags.

240V Floodlights
Sonaray Australia’s lights make it easy to replace your old lights with our anti-glare technology and really improve the quality of light at your premises.
All our lights are supplied with a standard 3 PIN plug, making installation easy.
We make maintenance simple: our lights feature the innovative removable EIS Power Supply™. This unique feature means it only takes 5 minutes to replace the LED driver unit of the light, without hiring a certified electrician. This greatly reduces your maintenance costs and enhances the lifetime of the light at a minimal cost.
Most other brands of LED lights do not have a replaceable driver, so when the driver fails, the whole light must be thrown away.
Our lights will provide an even light inside and outside. We enhance the LEDs with smart design and features such as surge protection and easy replacement and upgradability.
Applications for our lights include:
- outdoor arenas
- airports and train yards
- tennis courts and sports fields
- car parks and maintenance yards
- ports, piers and docks
